A late payment fee of $25 shall be applied for payments made after the 10th of the month. If payments are over 30 days past due, your child may be dropped from enrollment.

There is a 5-minute grace period.  A late pick-up fee of $1 per minute will be applied after the 5-minute grace period.  If later than 60 minutes, unless pre-authorized, Joyful Noise – Child Care reserves the right to call the Department of Social Services.

Withdrawal and Refund Policy

Withdrawal prior to the end of the school year impacts the viability of Joyful Noise – Child Care.  For this reason once the school year has started the $203 prepaid tuition for June 2014 shall be non-refundable.  Parents shall notify Joyful Noise – Child Care 30 days in advance of dis-enrolling their child from the program.  Parents are responsible for payment for the 30 days subsequent to giving notice.

Illness or Absence Policy

Children who have or have had a fever or who have vomited may not return to Joyful Noise – Child Care until 24 hours after the symptoms have subsided.  If the child is determined to be too sick by any member of the Joyful Noise – Child Care the parent(s) will be called and expected to pick up the child within 60 minutes.  In the event that the parent(s) is unable to pick up their child within 60 minutes then they shall arrange for someone from their emergency contact list to pick up their child.  The person from authorized list must show their ID to pick up the child.

Parent(s) are expected to notify Joyful Noise – Child Care of their child’s absence due to illness or any other reason no later than 11 AM of the day of absence by email.

Visitors

Visitors brought to the home by any parents may not stay longer than 5 minutes.

Loss or Damage Liability

  • Parents shall accept liability for charges arising from damage to Joyful Noise – Child Care property, regardless of whether or not such damage was caused by accident.

  • Parents shall recognize that Joyful Noise – Child Care is not responsible for the loss or damage to any items that their child brings into the home.  Children are strongly encouraged to not bring valuable items to Joyful Noise – Child Care.

Unacceptable Behavior

The following behaviors are unacceptable at Joyful Noise – Child Care

• Deliberate infliction of physical harm to others or self

• Deliberate destruction of others’ property

• Speaking insultingly, profanely, or abusively

• Refusal to obey reasonable directions

• Out-of-control behavior that disturbs other children

If unacceptable behavior persists after the issue has been raised with the parent(s) then Joyful Noise – Child Care reserves the right to dismiss the child from the program for the remainder of the school year.  In this case the $180 prepaid tuition for June 2014 shall be forfeited.  If unacceptable behavior occurs on a given day in which a Joyful Noise – Child Care staff member is unable to correct the behavior for the safety and well being of the other children, then the parent(s) will be called and expected to pick up their child within 60 minutes.  In the event that the parent(s) is unable to pick up their child within 60 minutes then the parent(s) shall arrange for someone from their emergency contact list to pick up their child.  The person from the authorized list must show their identification in order to pick up the child.
